The following pages contain photos taken during the construction of my steam locomotive. The engine is built to a scale of 2.5" = 1'-0" and runs on 7.5" gauge track and is fueled by propane gas.

As anyone that has ever built a project like this knows , it is never really finished. There are always details to add, hardware to make it run better, and finally, maintenance and repairs to be made over time. Similar to your cup being half full or half empty, a project like this one can be a labor of love or a love of labor.
